Nice easy hike. The path was overgrown in places and I wished I had a small hedge trimmer :) At the Castello I was startled by an alarm sound from a small surveillance camera.

Entering the Valenzano fortress is like taking a step back in time. This Lombard-era castle is now a period residence, in which it is possible to stay. All around the central complex there is a park with centuries-old trees. A beautiful and relaxing place.

Nice point from which to observe the Casentino, the Poppi Castle and the mountains. No one takes a ritual photo on the writing!

Barely visible ruins of an old building. The climb from Poggio d'Acona is very rough and sometimes steep. Very difficult to pedal even with electric. Challenging but feasible on the contrary, from Castelvecchio towards Poggio d'Acona.
