BAGNOLO CASTLE AGRO-TOURIST PARK

Small square with a monument to the Carabinieri, as simple as it is effective. The monument stands out against the background of the ancient castle, in a very suggestive way. On the upstream side of the small square, a beautiful view of a Ghiandone stream and a private park that runs alongside it (unfortunately not open to visitors). On the south-eastern corner, there is a bakery: on the first floor you can see a sixteenth-century fresco, a little faded but still very enjoyable. Nice spot for a stop, with many points of interest concentrated.

Barge is a town that is usually crossed without stopping. Instead, it's worth getting into it and turning it all around (it doesn't even take long). Among the points of interest: the church of San Giovanni, the castle, via Carle with its arcades.

Private building near the beginning of the dirt road that leads to Bagnolo Castle

On the main street of Campiglione appears the villa Luserna di Rorà, a beautiful eighteenth-century building but of earlier origin. Opposite, inside a private park, you can see the castle of Campiglione. Not far away, the parish church of San Giovanni Battista, among the trees and greenery, with its appurtenances. All of the historic Campiglione is condensed into these few square meters, and it is a place worth visiting.

Sanctuary of ancient history, but recently rebuilt (early 1900s). Next to it, the remains of the castle of Garzigliana, unfortunately unsafe and therefore not open to visitors, but visible only from the outside. Note of color: the remains of the castle were used in the past by the pupils of the Pinerolo riding school as a training ground. The place is very pleasant, and worth a visit. It is located on the provincial road from Pinerolo to Cavour, which is very busy: luckily you can get very close (from Garzigliana) avoiding the busiest roads.
