This Biella refuge is easily reached in a couple of hours on foot, via a dirt road. There's a nice picnic area nearby, and it's open during the summer and on some weekends during the rest of the year. It's best to call to check if it's open before you set off.

Going up from San Giacomo al Mombarone, you come across this farmhouse with animals scratching around. A short distance from the big bench

It is located a few meters from the Mombarone refuge, close to the path. But I found it locked

A few steps from the summit called Colma di Mombarone, it is an excellent point of support. It is open in July August and mid-September with continuous hours, May June October on Saturdays and Sundays, from November to April only on reservations
