refreshment point on the Via degli Dei represented by the bee under the big tree. A break in this fabulous place is a must, both for the peace it enjoys and for the picturesque landscapes that surround it.

Along the CAI35 and near Castiglione dei Pepoli stands the Ranuzzi-Segni "Abetaia" refuge, at about 930 meters above sea level. Il Poggiolo is a really welcoming bar/restaurant at the foot of Montesole, from which you can leave for excellent excursions, and return just in time to enjoy a beer or a nice glass of red wine. There is a car park just under the Poggiolo to be able to leave the car and go on foot for excursions in the Montesole park
