Castrum Frontone is situated on a hill with a wide view of the surrounding countryside. very small town with narrow streets and a restaurant on the village square. Climbing the incline (15 percent) is worth it.

The town of Cagli rises in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, on a plateau narrow by the rivers Bosso and Burano, confluent of the Metauro. The territory is surrounded by the Catria, Petrano, Nerone and Paganuccio mountains which, with the Pietralata, form the steep limestone walls of the Passo del Furlo massif.
