Fondi lake is one of the largest in the province of Latina but unlike the other coastal lakes of the Pontine plain it is a lake fed by fresh water sources. For this reason it cannot be considered a typically coastal lake. It is located between the towns of Fondi and Terracina and is a valid alternative to the beach and an excuse to get to know the area better.
