The second highest relief in the Alcamo area, from which you can enjoy - if you don't get hail like me - breathtaking views, ranging from the Alcamo countryside, to the Gulf of Castellammare, Lake Poma, the small Monrealese hamlet of Grisì and the mountains of the Palermo area. About ten km away from the city center, on this promontory, an important archaeological site from the late archaic age was fortuitously discovered in the early 2000s. Today on the crest of the mountain there is a wind farm, whose connecting roads allow it to be climbed, although not exactly easy, given the slopes of the ramps

Climb that from the ss119 leads to Alcamo, skirting the southern slope of Monte Bonifato. The fund is asphalted but quite ruined

Easily reachable by mtb after a few not very demanding stretches and with an easily walkable surface, within everyone's reach (even beginners). Fantastic view !!!
