This section of the Tracciolino is currently (as of November 8, 2024) still closed, but can still be walked despite the numerous information signs along the route. The path is closed due to various landslides. However, in my opinion these places were no more dangerous than others. It is wet and dark in the tunnels. The installed lighting is currently not working because the landslide also damaged the power cable.

The current geomorphological aspect of the territory is the result of the erosive and modeling action of the glaciers.
