What the breakthrough at Weltenburg is to the Danube, Ceraino is to me to the Adige. A wonderful, narrow valley with vertical walls.

At its end, the Lagarina valley drastically narrows its slopes and forms the Chiusa di Ceraino. In just over 100 meters of width, the Adige and the state road that leads to Trento pass. After the locks, the Adige flows into the plain and the landscape opens up rapidly.

Nice location (downstairs) with kids to play in the water, very nice after the walk from the center.

Nice location to jump into Lake Garda.

Very nice place, a bit away from the hustle and bustle...if you get there early enough, the school classes will come later to visit...great view over the lake and Jamaica Beach. The walls, which are up to 6 m high and initially built in a herringbone pattern, are amazing.
