This mountain hut enjoys a panoramic view of the Sernio Grauzaria mountain range. It is connected to the village of Valle by a paved forest road. The trail to Mount Tersadia starts from the hut.

ATTENTION Hikers are advised that the Franz Shelter in the municipality of Venzone will be closed until the ongoing extraordinary maintenance work is completed! The Franz Shelter is located in the Cuel de Frate area. It is a modest but well-equipped structure, complete with a stove, tables, and a bench. It can be easily reached via the CAI trail no. 701 from Tugliezzo in just over an hour. Alternatively, it can be reached on foot via the forest road (closed to vehicles) that ends right next to the shelter, also starting from Tugliezzo. It is a popular destination in all seasons as a starting point for hikes to Mount Plauris or the Cjariguart Valley. Beds: 4 Water: non-potable, but available depending on seasonal weather conditions. Casera Valmedan alta is located at the end of the asphalt road that climbs from Rivalpo onto a plateau with a panoramic view of Mount Sernio

"Tamai" originally meant a place where shepherds sheltered from storms and sheltered their flocks. Today, instead of sheep, tourists, skiers, and cyclists gather here to relax with a frico and admire the panoramic view of the Alps.

The menu features typical Carnic and Friulian dishes, including frico (fried cheese with potatoes), polenta, cold cuts, and local cheeses. The mountain hut also serves as a rest stop for cyclists conquering the Zoncolan, one of the most challenging passes of the Giro d'Italia.

This mountain hut-restaurant (rifugio alpino) is popular with skiers in winter and cyclists and hikers in summer. It is famous for its panoramic terrace, which offers views of the entire Carnic Alps, the Julian Alps, and the Friulian Dolomites.

Rifugio Tamai is a mountain hut located on Monte Zoncolàn in the Carnic Alps (Friuli-Venezia Giulia). It is located at an altitude of approximately 1,710 meters above sea level, near the upper cable car station and the Zoncolàn ski slopes.

Casera Avrint, unmanaged but accessible and open to the public. It sits on a panoramic plateau overlooking Tolmezzo and the surrounding valleys.
