Enchanting place after a breathtaking climb

A wonderful place that invites you to linger. A very beautiful plateau, which is hardly to be expected given the altitude of 1800m. The water level in the ponds changes depending on the season. From the mountain/saddle ridge there are breathtaking views in all directions.

Towards the end of the lake there is a Tibetan bridge. The lake can also be reached through 2 tunnels from Lake Selva.

you arrive from an asphalt road you have to cross 2 dark and wet tunnels of 1.7 km then you take a path on the right after crossing the Ciul dam the path is very beautiful but also very exposed in several sections you also have to push the bike up to the abandoned village of Fessoneit di Sopra and then a much smoother and more fascinating route begins up to Tramonti di Sopra

Getting to the top of the lake is a great satisfaction.

Nearby is the Casera Festons hut with great treats and beer from the Zahre Beer brewery
