Corso Guercino leads south into a large square dominated by the solitary bulk of the Rocca, the imposing fortress overlooking Cento with the massive geometry of its corner towers, the strength and power of the entrance tower, and the central keep. Currently the Villa is given in concession to a catering company for the organization of events, such as weddings, conferences, etc. The two earthquakes of 20 May and 29 May 2012 damaged some parts of the towers and the adjacent chapel (especially the small bell tower)
