Veľký Rozsutec is the local mountain of the small village of Stefanova. The climb over the Janosikove Diery involves climbing 977 meters, but the path along the stream with its waterfalls and ladders is extremely attractive.

From the mountain station of the KLD Chleb cable car, you can hike here over the ridge in about 1 hour, with a spectacular view of the valley towards Terchova

Twice ascent in winter to Veľký Kriváň accompanied by strong wind. Take warm clothes and after the ascent you can warm up in the Panorama restaurant at the upper station of the cable car.

The path necessarily leads over the summit, it is not possible to avoid it, so that you have to overcome almost a thousand meters of altitude on this day. On the last 80 to 100 meters it is very steep, you have to use your hands, these are climbing passages secured with steel cables. You should be free from giddiness, in some places it goes deep down next to you. The same conditions apply to the first 100 meters of descent.
