The road that leads to the top of Mount Vojak from the southern slope is unpaved starting shortly after the village of Sveta Jelena. The first ramps are more challenging but, once the forest clears, the slopes become more gentle. Once in Vela Ucka the dirt road rejoins the paved road that reaches the summit from the north.
