Small waterfall that changes its flow depending on the season

A short bike trip from Pontecagnano to the village of Campagna, which is less than 30 km away, is an excellent idea for an out-of-town trip from Salerno (we were staying in Pontecagnano...). The route winds along the SS 18 Tirrena Inferiore, offering beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The village of Campagna, perched on a hill, is waiting to be discovered. Its narrow medieval streets, stone houses and its peaceful atmosphere make it an ideal place to relax and immerse yourself in history with a stream that runs through the village, creating a charming and fresh atmosphere. Among the beauties of the village, do not miss the Church of San Giovanni Battista, the medieval castle and the Archaeological Museum.

The Acquabianca waterfall is located just 1 km from the beginning of the path along the river through a forest of beech, oak and maple trees. The water descends along an inlet of the mountain and forms a small lake with clear and fresh waters.

Along the path 153 you come across a panoramic point that allows you to see the beautiful Acquabianca waterfalls from above. For the 153 trekking clothing, sturdy shoes and a little experience because there are rocky stretches.
