This used to be the Bygdisheim hotel but these days it's a private residence. The hotel operated from 1896 to the mid 1980s. Regardless of use, it occupies an eviable spot on Bygdin Lake.

Beautiful gravel road from the ferry dock at Lake Bygdin to the main road. The route is only slightly undulating and leads along the lake at an altitude of 1000 m.

Beautiful surroundings, located directly on the turquoise blue lake Bygdin. Really great hiking environment. The hut can also be reached by bus. Straightforward people operating the cabin. The dorm is divided into private bunks and the concept is really great for the dorm size!
