Stunning landscape, it doesn't even seem like we're in Italy... It reminds me of Mongolia. Especially when wild horses graze nearby. If Monte Strega has a certain charm, well I'd say the ridge from Strega to Monte Cilio is certainly no less fascinating! Definitely in the top spots in my ranking.

The view when you reach the summit is not surprising, because the summit cross - which seems almost gigantic and can therefore be seen from afar - crowns Monte CATRIA and is unmistakable. But despite its enormous mass, the cross erected here does not seem overwhelming at all; in fact, due to the steel framework construction (the most famous example of which is the Eiffel Tower in Paris), it appears almost delicate.

Very steep climb on the meadow that reaches the cross of Monte Catria at an altitude of 1701, the highest peak in the Province of Pesaro and Urbino

The slopes of Monte Catria are covered by woods of beech, sycamore and other species, while among the fauna it is possible to observe golden eagles, hawks, owls and a variety of wild animals, including the small fish "bullhead" and rare amphibians such as the spectacled salamander.

Monte Cilio is located at an altitude of 1121m. Here we have a beautiful 360 degree view.
