Don't miss the turnoff into the gorge, as the route through the Zügenschlucht is currently not signposted but leads down a wide, steep gravel road to the Home of Trails bridge.

After a long and tedious climb, you finally reach a singletrack trail that winds its way uphill and, in places, exposed, along the gorge floor. However, the trail is technically easy to ride. Anyone who doesn't mind the elevation will enjoy the ride.

One of the most interesting highlights, but the entire Alps Epic Trail is incredible. A must-do for any mountain biker!

Bridge over an incredibly deep and very narrow gorge of the Landwasser (Zügenschlucht). And far below, the stream rushes. Looking down can make you dizzy. If you pass by Wiesen train station, you should definitely go to the bridge. It's only a few steps, but it's definitely worth it.

In the picturesque landscape between Wiesen and Monstein in Davos, the Zügenschlucht stretches for over three kilometers. The constant flow of the Landwasser has created this impressive natural gorge, which is accompanied by the impressive rock formations of the Steig and the Silberberg. This section of the Epic Trail is easy to navigate and offers you the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking views of the gorge in peace.
