beautiful and quiet place

Great menu, fair prices...very friendly staff. All this in a beautiful setting. The 15-minute walk from the mountain station to the mountain restaurant is definitely worth it.

The Alp Uelis Grimmi lies at 1,840 meters above sea level and offers a wild high alpine character. Here you will find small moor areas with rare alpine flowers and the iron-rich springs of the Grimmi water. At the top of the Alp Grimmi you can enjoy great views of the impressive rocky cliffs and the Diemtigtal, while the simple mountain restaurant invites you to take a rest.

Magnificent place, very steep access by bike (12-13% the first km) then softens as soon as you leave the forest. Coating good!

The restaurant including the stable burned down completely in 2020. It was rebuilt after the fire. The Alp with restaurant is definitely worth a visit thanks to good food and service. A great end to a hike in this area!
