A spacious hut with an open fireplace in the hut. The hut is ideal for overnight stays in emergencies, as there are several large wooden benches/beds. There is a fireplace with seating outside the hut and a toilet nearby. In the immediate vicinity of the hut there is a stream with a gradient and very small water steps, so that fresh drinking water can be refilled here for the rest of the hike.

An absolute winter insider tip: Svängis Våffelstuga is an inconspicuous little hut on the edge of the Burusjöen roundabout. The owner is a former police officer in Idre and retires here in winter to bake typical Swedish waffles for passing cross-country skiers. Opening hours in the winter season: every day 10-16, except Saturdays
