Luckily, it's still mostly an insider tip. When the lakes are already lukewarm in midsummer, it's still really refreshing here. Cool "bathtubs", impressive ways to cool off. Great. Driving ban on weekends, so not too crowded.

Large cave, both between the waterfall with benches, furnishings and a DRINKING WATER fountain. Further down in the basin you can also climb into a second cave, which after the narrow entrance becomes so high that you can explore it while crouching! Fantastic place and one of the best highlights along the Töss.

The largest and most impressive waterfall in the valley, with a huge cauldron, several pools and just a WOW effect when you climb down. But be careful of stones that can come loose from the overhang, you'll send those coming down next to you a little off. Otherwise, a really well-secured area.

The Sagenraintobel is located where the Tösstal slopes down to Lake Zurich. The elongated incision is a soul landscape in which it is wonderful to stroll along the streams. The Sagenraintobel is such a soul landscape. It is located in the south-eastern corner of the canton of Zurich, where the Tösstal area slowly slopes down to Lake Zurich. The elongated incision stretches from the last houses of Wald in a north-easterly direction and is traversed by the Schmittenbach. The actual, wooded valley is not long, maybe three kilometers, but that's enough to relax. And that's exactly what you need in the approaching dark season with its own challenges.
