In the meantime, the forest hut has been completely renovated and it shines with solid wood and the inside will certainly be cozy and inviting.

Large shelter with table + benches, fountain, grill, ToiToi toilet, only wood I didn't see, otherwise super good.

In July 2011, five people built a sophisticated forest hut in the Hohrain forest within just three weeks. This project was launched thanks to “SF Schweiz aktuell” in the program “Die Hüttenbauer”. The broadcast was related to the “UN Year of the Forests”, so sustainability and energy efficiency, as well as living in and dealing with the forest during construction, were an important topic. The forest hut is the beginning and end of a forest nature trail and has 2 fire pits and plenty of seating.
