I drove past first. I didn't regret my return trip! A beautiful little lake, Aaschächli, hidden and quiet. A little idyll. Anyone traveling to Lake Hallwil should definitely pack their swimming trunks when the weather is nice. Barbecue enthusiasts will get their money's worth along the mostly wooded riverside promenade, as will nature lovers. Anyone who wants to fish can do so from the shore without hesitation. The Hallilwersee is of course also easily accessible by boat. The journey times are long and don't keep hikers/walkers waiting long.
