Beautiful legend about the cross 🙂

Location: In the passage of the Einersheim Gate, behind the northern gate wing in front of the northern wall. Legend: During the Thirty Years' War, Swedish troops entered the town through the Einersheim Gate in 1632. A councilman tried to plead for mercy for the town and its inhabitants, but was stabbed by a mercenary. The cross was erected on the spot where he died.

Nice long fast trail

This is the Einersheim Gate in Iphofen. It is one of the four gates of the medieval city fortifications and is still very well preserved. Its solid construction is particularly impressive. Today, it's a great photo opportunity and a good starting point for a stroll through the old town.

Nice trail, even in bad weather. The lower section, but definitely not an S2, more like an S1.

I died—but—doable 😂 Surely fun for experienced people 😆

Bad weather - poor road conditions. Otherwise, it's fun.
