This is the Rosenberg ruin, not Rosenburg (as mentioned by Martina, which is located west of Herisau near Ramsen). The Rosenberg, Rosenburg and Urstein castles were once a trio. Four-sided foundation walls up to a height of 5 m have been preserved. Inside and outside with barbecue areas.

Well-preserved castle on the mountainside above Rorschach with keep made of sandstone blocks and adjacent residential buildings. The probably in the 12th century.
