A narrow path branches off from the wide forest path into the Devil's Kitchen. The small gorge is becoming increasingly narrower and, as is so often the case, the pictures cannot accurately reflect the truth. My hiking stick was also used.

This road is currently closed due to danger to life!! There are also extra stones blown up!! Workers are active. We're through today 09/07/23. In places there are extremely many thick 🪨 stones. Please do not drive while it is closed. Otherwise super awesome route.

But be careful when descending to the stairs and bridge, there is a branch. If you take that, you land in a somewhat adventurous manner directly under the waterfall and, at low tide, you can cross the creek bed to the bridge.

Closed again since May 2023 due to a rockfall. It will likely not reopen to traffic until autumn. The barrier is easily bypassed by bicycle, and the path is clear for 6 beautiful, car-free kilometers. I would generally recommend using this road as an ascent, as there are already many loose rocks scattered in some places. However, I rode it downhill today (June 15th), and even that was manageable without much braking if you pay a little attention.

Surefootedness makes sense a mystical place 👍

"Tüüfelschuchi" is written on the board - who reads the small print also "Chotzegrabe" which I like very much. Looks impressive from above - unfortunately it is difficult or impossible to climb down.

Very pleasant road to drive on, not too much traffic, even on weekends.

The lower section of road up to the Wittholz junction has been resurfaced; the upper section is also scheduled to follow. 💪
