Beautiful forest trail. Also easy to ride on a gravel bike.

That's how Patrick writes, but I meant it more as a comparison and therefore used the addition "to Frienisberg". Plus, the whole thing is ironic anyway when you read the report on the tour in question...

The Hohle Gasse is an artificial ravine between Küssnacht and Immensee in Switzerland. William Tell is said to have shot the Habsburg governor Hermann Gessler in Hohle Gasse in 1307. In Friedrich Schiller's drama Wilhelm Tell, Tell says (IV, 3): “He must come through this hollow alley. There is no other way to Küssnacht.” Today's Hohle Gasse was once the road from Küssnacht to Immensee. As traffic increased, a bypass was built in 1937, which relieved the Hohle Gasse of motorized traffic. The old road was narrowed with the help of stone blocks.

Impressive hill cut with a wonderful path for hiking or biking

The path to the south is worth it, despite the ups and downs. If only because of the rock formations and that you can leave the wide and well-developed main path. The real highlight, however, is clearly the short and imposing valley. Could have come from the Disney workshop for a fairy tale movie!
