The hut is close to Hrabrino, there is an asphalt road there, but you have to cross a narrow bridge - not every car can pass, but there is enough space to stop before the bridge. The walk to the hut is pleasant and anyone who decides to go there can choose whether to walk on the asphalt road or take the forest paths.

The hunting lodge is about 2 hours from Velingrad. The walk up there is very pleasant with no steep sections. Next to the shelter there is a large clearing and a fountain that is NOT suitable for drinking.

The lodge is not open all the time, but it is a perfect opportunity for a day trip. The area around the lodge is suitable for a picnic, but be responsible and protect nature.

The (very small) local bear museum is also located here.

The lodge needs repairs and new beds. There is an outside bathroom. The food was nice. The hosts are kind.
