The rest area on the hill is beautifully situated in the forest, but as you can see in the pictures, the view ends at the trees. The rest area at the bottom of the hill, with a shelter and barbecue area, is great and leaves nothing to be desired.

The water has a strange smell 🤔

Here you'll find two cosy wooden shelters, a covered trailer for extra weather protection, and plenty of space for tents. With running water and a toilet on-site, it's a great place to rest in quiet natural surroundings. There's also a BBQ area.

Blokhus Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Northern Europe, stretching for miles, with the finest white sand and high, wind-protecting dunes. You can drive along the beach from Rødhus in the south to Løkken in the north and buy freshly caught fish right there on the beach almost every day. Dogs on leashes are also welcome on the beach year-round. Still a great place. Plenty of space to put up tents. Very quiet.
