Very nice gravel road next to the lake.

This section of the path near Hjelsminde is a beautiful stretch of solid gravel cycling with forest on one side and water on the other. It offers peaceful views around Hjels Nor, making it a perfect spot for a break. Don’t miss the charming fishermen’s huts along the way!

Beautiful route around the lake. The fishermen's huts invite you to linger.

This beautiful place is only about 2.5 km from the town of Ribe. There are cabins to rent and a small campsite. Very friendly staff and everything you need is there. Very clean sanitary facilities. Showers are charged per minute, electricity is included. There is also a bread roll service 😉. It is easy to walk around the ponds and there are lots of places to sit. The children have also been thought of, as there is a large playground.

Very nice tour! Always happy to do it again....

A beautiful (solid gravel) cycle path through nature. One side forest, one side water!

Nice swim to wake up. At the end it is 1.5 to 2 meters deep, but it is safer to simply descend through the water from the side along the jetty.

Genner Strand is located north of the Løjt Land peninsula, inside Genner Bay, about 10 km north of the town of Aabenraa and 17 km south of the town of Haderslev. The area is characterized by quiet, southern Jutland nature consisting of forest, fields and beach. Directly across from Genner Strand is the small, scenic island of Kalvø. A causeway connects the island to the mainland and a marked nature trail circles the island for about 1.5 km.
