Ferring Sø is an inland lake that lies directly on the North Sea. It couldn't be more beautiful. A beautiful, rugged part of Denmark's west coast. The lake is only separated from the sea by a narrow sand dike. A complete circuit is about 9km.

Currently (September 2023) the water level is very low, but still worth a detour.

Climbing the dunes by bike is quite difficult, so you have to push it first, after that the path is really great. From time to time there are sandbanks, then you have to push.

Ferring Sø is a lovely lake with a hiking trail around it. You can also ride a bike along it, but at a distance.
