The beautiful Lough Mohra is situated in Rathgormack area of County Waterfordunder. It lies under the Knockanaffrin Ridge which creates a dramatic backdrop to this glacial lake.

The Sgilloge Loughs sit on the high grounds of the Nire Valley and provide some breathtaking vistas. The area can get boggy so bring a decent pair of shoes along with you.

Small streams and breathtaking views await you at this point. The view of the lake opens up in front of you while you are in the middle of the idyllic nature of Ireland. Depending on the season, the colors differ along the slopes of the mountains, for example when the Irish heather is in bloom.

Around 5km in length, open and exposed at the top. Amazing flowers during spring at the bottom!! Beautiful view from the top over Tipperary and the lake nestled into the side of the mountain.
