Located right at the highest point of the Raga pass (2000 meters), the Ragua refuge is a mountain refuge with a guard and capacity for 32 bunk beds. Currently (September 2023) it remains closed and waiting to carry out renovations in the facilities, which had been very deteriorated due to lack of maintenance.

perfect place for a budget trip at cabo de gata. Bike-friendly, great bar&Café and a very welcoming vibe. Rooms are all dorm rooms, clean but very basic. I really enjoyed the stay

The climb to the Vulture peak, in the Sierra de Castril, is incredible. His ascension is very good. The track is in good condition and the views are incredible. It is an exposed summit. He has a shelter at the top.
