Surrounded by wild and pristine nature. Chickens run around in front of the cabins, cows stand in front of the toilet door. Beautiful cabins to stay in, delicious dinner and breakfast prepared by the family. You'll also get a packed lunch for the journey, so you're prepared for the steep climb the next day.

Food was nice, getting eggs instead of bread was a bit of a struggle (gluten-free)

No one will go thirsty on this stage. There are plenty of opportunities to purchase refreshments alongside springs. The owner is very hospitable and up for a pleasant chat over a cold drink.

The café is located halfway between Valbona and the pass... Ideal for gathering strength

There is a bar here that is sometimes open. If not, you can fill up your water at a spring opposite

Very basic accommodation, but very friendly hosts and good food.

In early June 2023 the huts looked very deserted. Nobody there. May only be open in high season.🤷♀️
