Remains of a fortress about which, unfortunately, almost no information is available. The summit is better known as the apex of the Pyramid of the Sun.

Make sure you visit Trinjača peak. 2038 meters height. Beautiful views. And only a few minutes walk from Hajdučka Vrata.

Beautiful view. In hot weather good protection from the sun is needed. There is little shelter. Lots of water!

Very beautiful plateau with endless views. Unfortunately I didn't see any horses. Seems you need a bit of luck to see them. But it worth it anyway to go up there!

9월 16, 2023, Trinjača Peak (2,038 m)
Beautiful hike from the trailhead at Vitlenica to Haiducken Tor. The trail is easy to master with good sure-footedness and sturdy shoes, but the route is quite long (a little over 16km and around 700 meters of elevation gain there and back). The nature up there is almost magical. You should also take the short detour to the summit after the Haiduken Tor. It only takes a few minutes and the all-round visibility is simply great.

Difficult ascent, as there is no normal hiking trail (over hill and dale...), but the tour is worth it. great view

The foothills below Mt Cincar are home to around 400 wild horses, the last wild horses of Europe. These animals have managed to adapt to the harsh weather conditions and survive poachers and predators for nearly 50 years. And before that? Up until the 1950s, their ancestors were used for agricultural purposes. When farming machine use gained a foothold, horses' sustainment became too expensive, causing their abandonment. In a landscape of vast pastures and karstic fields, these majestic animals are a unique phenomenon.

7월 3, 2021, Vito Peak (1960 m)
The highlight of the Visočica massif - the ridge between Vito and Drstva On this hike we climb the summit of Vito, which at 1960 m is one of the highest and most beautiful peaks of the Visočica massif. On the ridge path over to Drstva we enjoy breathtaking views over the deep and still largely unexplored gorge of the Rakitnica to the Bjelašnica massif and the mountain village of Lukomir.

Visočica is a mountain range in central Bosnia and Herzegovina. Geologically, Visočica is part of the Dinaric Alps and consists largely of secondary and tertiary sedimentary rocks, mainly limestone and dolomite. Due to subterranean non-porous geological layers, Visočica lacks the typical karst features of the nearby Herzegovina Mountains, which leads to sufficient water sources, even at altitudes of around 1500 to 1700 m. However, spring lakes tend to dry up quickly towards summer. Some smaller streams arise from these mountains as tributaries to adjacent rivers: the Ljuta in the east, the Rakitnica on its north and west slopes and the Neretva in the south. Notable peaks are Visočica (1736 m), Džamija (1974 m), Vito (1960 m), Veliki Ljeljen (1963 m), Crveni Kuk (1733 m) and Veliki Toholj (1837 m).
