다미아노스 동굴(다미아누 동굴이라고도 함)은 아갈라스 산악 마을 위에 있는 독특한 2층 바위 동굴입니다. 두 개의 겹쳐진 입구가 있는 특이한 구조로 유명하며, 내륙에서 이오니아 해까지 탁 트인 파노라마 전망을 제공합니다. 동굴은 인상적인 종유석과 석순이 있는 두 개의 층으로 이루어져 있습니다. 아래층은 주차장에서 약 200미터 길이의 쉽게 걸을 수 있는 길을 통해 바로 접근할 수 있습니다. 위층은 매끄러운 바위를 오르는 등반 기술이 필요하며, 경험이 풍부한 방문객에게만 자체 위험 부담으로 권장됩니다.

검은 동굴(그리스어: Mavri Spilia)은 칼리테아 마을 근처에 있는 인상적인 관광지입니다. 동굴에서는 염전과 알리 кана스 만을 포함한 섬의 동쪽 해안을 따라 멋진 전망을 감상할 수 있습니다. 바위에 새겨진 가파른 오솔길이 동굴로 이어집니다. 어려운 구간에는 손잡이 역할을 하는 로프가 설치되어 있습니다. 오솔길 아래에는 주인이 레모네이드, 리큐어, 올리브 오일 제품, 손으로 깎은 나무 공예품과 같은 수제 특선 요리를 판매하는 작은 가게를 운영하고 있습니다. 길이 가파르고 바위가 미끄러울 수 있으므로 단단한 신발(운동화 또는 등산화)을 강력히 권장합니다. 플립플롭은 부적합합니다.

The climb to the cave is easy and offers a magnificent view of the bay and the coastal landscape. Those wishing to continue up to the fortress ruins face a well-secured but nonetheless challenging, strenuous, and steep ascent. Komoot's "easy" rating is therefore misleading.

A superb valley with this monastery nestled in the cliff face—what better place to dream of for a two-hour walk from Leonidio? Highly recommended.
