Always nice and a must when we are in Norway. In the meantime, a nice shelter has been added. Ideal for a break with beautiful lake views. Just enjoy.

Galtetjønn, beautiful little lake with a bench and a view of the lake. Included with water lilies and pond mummies.

Undoubtedly a good place to look around when there is little traffic. Otherwise, I recommend going off the road a bit or going to Lillesand.

The way up is gravel and can be walked without problems. However, it is quite steep. Within a short time you make quite a few meters on the way up. At the top is a picnic area and from there we continue to the left to the viewing platform, past an incredible number of blueberries and over many pine roots. The view of the fjord is breathtaking, especially when the weather is nice when the water glows blue and glitters.

This is a fantastic little hike with a most rewarding view from the top. Keep your left at the moment when you pass the sign

If you don't want to walk the whole loop and are just looking for a nice place to rest and (sun)bathe, this is the place for you.
