The Stalheimskleiva has been open to hikers and cyclists for a while now. Cycled up a few days ago, definitely worth it! It wasn't very busy, but given the gradient and the hikers I wouldn't cycle down the pass. You go up about as fast as the hikers and that's quite nice. Received enough encouragement in any case.

An easy hike, but definitely wear waterproof shoes. It's really attractive in good weather.

Unfortunately, the bridge remains closed (May 2025). Those who enjoy climbing over scree—which is necessary for the hike to the bridge anyway—can get a little closer to the falls on the right side. However, you won't get close enough to see both waterfalls at once.

A breathtaking natural spectacle. The paths to the viewing platforms and photo spots are well developed and easy to reach with sturdy shoes. A must-see.

Hello everyone, We were there yesterday - June 8th, 2024 - and walked the route. My conclusion: Gravel bike ✅ Trekking bike ✅ Hiking ✅ Road bike 😕, not recommended.
