Great views from here and some interesting historic structures. Lots is fenced off, but if you walk up the short hill over the chained gateway you can see for miles and miles. Worth the extra effort!!

This is the highest hill in Wellington city at 495m. You can either walk or bike here. Stunning 360 degree view across Wellington, and through to the South Island, on a clear day Kapiti Island can also be seen.
