렌츠베르크는 슐로사우 남서쪽에 위치한 숲이 우거진 능선으로, 높이는 약 542미터입니다. 딕크부켈의 지맥으로, 후방 오덴발트의 다채로운 사암 고원에 속합니다. 이 지역은 특히 하이커들에게 알려져 있으며, 겨울에는 크로스컨트리 스키어들에게도 인기가 많습니다. 이곳을 통해 라이젠바허 로이펜(Reisenbacher Loipen)의 일부가 지나갑니다. 탁 트인 지역에서는 헤센 오덴발트의 아름다운 전망을 감상할 수 있는 곳도 있습니다. 잘 정비된 길은 리메스 교육 산책로와 슐로사우 근처의 옛 로마 요새로도 이어집니다. 관광 외에도 이 지역은 녹지 보존이나 잠재적인 풍력 터빈 설치에 대한 논의 등에서도 역할을 합니다.

At the Katzenbuckelturm, the highest point in the Odenwald, there's an idyllic rest area that offers hikers a well-deserved break. Here, you'll find several seating areas perfect for enjoying the impressive view and recharging your batteries.

One of the watchtowers in this area. Unfortunately only the foundations remain. Nevertheless, the information board there provides very good information. Very interesting.

The Hohwald watchtower is an interesting stop on your hike. 🏰 Here you can explore the remains of a Roman watchtower and learn more about the history of this region. The view of the surrounding nature from here is also impressive - perfect for a short rest.
