An absolute must for cave freaks. The cave is dark, steep, wet and slippery.

This magnificent summit with panoramic views of the lake and surrounding peaks is the Grande Chaux de Naye, a grassy plateau with a glacial cave. Once you reach the top, this serene peak is a great place to take a break and enjoy the views.

We just passed in front of them as we are not experienced and didn't have any protection nor equipment.

Before mid-July there is usually too much snow at the lower entrance to the cave so that one cannot get into the cave. Inside, cat eyes help with orientation.

Not far from the Schwarzsee there is a very special place of peace and contemplation: the Dankes Grotto was built around 1921, but was soon forgotten. This wonderful place was renovated in 2005 and is now open to visitors again.
