A spectacular section of the old Averser road. The view of the cliffs and the rushing mountain stream with its waterfalls is magnificent.

The Muttabach stream rises in the Flüesee and plunges into a waterfall down into the valley to Juf and into the Jufer Rhine.

The restaurant is the entrance to the Roffla Gorge. The entrance fee of CHF 4 is well worth it. You can also enjoy a fine meal at the restaurant after the tour. The wooden tables in the garden restaurant come from the restaurant's own sawmill, and the awning in front of the restaurant comes from the restaurant's own spinning mill.

Very nicely laid out hiking trail, but you should be a bit sure-footed, and there are some beautiful spots with a view down
