Very beautiful region with great cycle paths

We started the walk from the Salavaux village hall and followed the Broye towards the lake. Then we joined the edge of the lake to follow it for one or two kilometers and ended up returning by the Vita trail. A great walk that we like to do out of season.

Cudrefin is a small community on the beautiful shores of Lake Neuchâtel. The old village center is characterized by stately town houses and farmhouses, and the clock tower is particularly striking.

Because the trail in the forest was under water, I used this wooden footbridge. It was impressive to be so close to the water; always hoping that the structure would withstand the load. ;)

The BirdLife nature centre La Sauge is located between the two nature reserves Fanel and Chablais de Cudrefin on Lake Neuchâtel. It is one of four nature centres in Switzerland and offers visitors many opportunities to discover the local bird species.

Today Vallamand is a pleasant place both for its residents and for its visitors, who particularly use the marina opened in 1998. Vallamand is known as the birthplace of Ernest Failloubaz, the pilot of the first Swiss airplane. Ernest Failloubaz has shaped the country's aviation history, as has the aircraft manufacturer René Grandjean, who comes from the neighboring town of Bellerive. Vallamand-Dessous also has a boat landing stage where the LNM's scheduled ships dock on their sea tours.
