Wonderful forest route over the Hexenberg towards Obermaßfeld Grimmenthal

From the summit cross of the Weyershauck you have a great view of the surrounding area. Many rest benches invite you to take a break here.

The Weyhershauk is a nature reserve in the Rhön biosphere reserve. On the natural history trail, hikers can get to know the northernmost occurrence of an important dry habitat in Bavaria. It is one of the most valuable areas due to its species-rich equipment with a large variety of animal and plant species.

Nice vantage point on a tour that you can also do with children.

On the way to Weyershauk you walk through a beautiful poor meadow with silver thistles and other dried artists. You also have a very nice view of the castle and the surrounding area, especially from the very comfortable loungers.

Hexenberg is a peak in Thuringia and has a terrain elevation of 491 metres. Hexenberg is situated close to Fossillagerstätte Ur-Werra, and close to Turnerdenkmal.

Nice viewpoint and different plants

At 538 m, the Hohe Schule is the second highest mountain in the eastern Rhön foothills. On the high school there was a fortification from the Hallstatt or La Tène period.
