The Lady Buddha statue in Da Nang, at 67 meters, is the tallest Buddha statue in Vietnam. Located within the Linh Ung Pagoda on the Son Tra Peninsula (Monkey Mountain), it is a popular, free landmark. It represents the goddess of compassion, protects fishermen, and offers spectacular views of the sea and the city. It symbolizes protection and compassion. The right hand is raised in the Abhaya Mudra (protective gesture), while the left holds a vase of holy water. The statue stands atop a large lotus blossom, 35 meters in diameter, and contains 17 levels within. The beautiful Linh Ung Pagoda surrounds the statue.

The dragon design is modeled after a dragon from the Ly Dynasty. It is considered a symbol of wealth, nobility, and power. The dragon is designed to appear to be flying towards the South China Sea, symbolizing the city's desire for growth and prosperity.

The Dragon Bridge is considered the city's most important landmark. It is world-renowned for its design and spectacular shows. For example, the fire and water show takes place every Friday and Saturday at 9 pm. The dragon breathes fire for three minutes, followed by an impressive fountain of water.
