During the GDR era, a wooden shelter for hikers was built in the middle of the castle grounds on the castle hill (Lindenberg). The hut was replaced by a new wooden shelter after 1990. Nice rest area in the middle of the forest 🌳.

A really beautiful, large & new log cabin was built here. People like to stop here to take a break or to shelter from a rain shower. There is also a nice place to sit in front of the hut to take a break. I hope it stays this beautiful for a long time. 🙏🏻
