Probably the highlight of the hike for families with children. The barbecue area is in very good condition, as are the playground equipment.

Wonderful view of the volcanic cones of the Hegau. The hut was locked. There is a small barbecue area and a few seats with a table. The area is relatively small. The hiking trail and mountain bike trail lead right past.
