The lake is divided into two parts: a bathing area and a biotope. Very busy in summer. There is a very beautiful path around the lake. There is a Kneipp facility on the south side. Lifeguards are also on duty in summer.

Center of Meßstetten-Heinstetten The water supply is guaranteed by the Hohenberg Group Water Supply Association, which is based in Meßstetten.
