The branch off Raubeckstrasse to the east did not yet exist at that time. The valley cut was filled in for it. In the 1930s, the then teacher Friedrich Mühlhäußer and the students of his senior class remediated the rather silted body of water. On the south side, boards were nailed onto embedded beams, creating a non-swimmers' compartment. A staircase facilitated access.
