Buntsandsteinschlucht "Dörflinger Ruh" Occurrence of large clods (blocks + slabs) of rock sandstone in the gorge is due to a tectonic subsidence within an approx. N-S directed graben.

Through the Storkelsgrund z. B. one of the feeders to the Spessartbogen hiking trail. Along the Grund with its eventful landscape, you can also "screw your way up" in the direction of Goldberg with the Dreimarker, where the historical boundary stones of the County of Hanau, the Landgraviate of Hesse-Kassel and the Electorate of Mainz meet very nicely.
